Housesitting

Hey  guys!
We're back home from Vacation! It was a blast in Oregon, Mexico and Hawaii. The best part of our post-deployment reunion vacation was having so much uninterrupted time together! It's been great being back home in Oki though. We've been housesitting/ petsitting for the last 3 weeks for our very dear friends, who will be back in another 2. We never thought we were "dog people" but after watching Mizu (the Onifer's dog) for a while, we're definitely getting attached! Micah's getting back into the Marine Corps swing of things. We went to the "Transition Assistance Program" this week aka WOOHOO WE'RE GETTING OUT THE MILITARY PROGRAM!! Yes, that's right! 8 months and counting folks! Colleen is excited about a great program she found in AZ....one that would get her a teaching certification in one year for super cheap! Until then, she'll continue to substitute and volunteer at Okinawa Christian School International. We're continuing to pray and lean on the LORD for direction.  We appreciate your prayers as we're about to go through a huge change in the very near future. Definitely not as stressful as a deployment (check!) but still a big transition for us!

In other news, we are super excited about Micah's parents coming to visit us in October!!! Woohoo!! Colleen's already making a list for all the places she wants to take them. And then Colleen's BFF Bridget Miller is coming out in March! We're so blessed to have such amazing family & friends that would come all this way to see us!

We Love you all!

P.S. Please continue to pray for my nephew William Fallon.....He starts his bone marrow transplant today as the last part of his cancer treatment. There are many dangers that go along with this (organ failure, hearing loss, mouth soars that would require a feeding tube etc) so please pray the Lord protect him. Prayfully, he will be cancer-free after the transplant!!!
